What are the problems with the pleasures of worldly objects and bodily senses?

Guru: And then there are problems with these pleasures.

Tom: You mean even pleasures have problems?

Guru: These pleasures are only transient.

Tom: You mean they are only temporal?

Guru: So after awhile, these pleasures are not pleasurable anymore.

Tom: Then, what happens?

Guru: Then, people have to look for new pleasures.

Tom: So, new pleasures after new pleasures.

Guru: Until there is no new pleasure.

Tom: Then, end of pleasure.

Guru: Then, end of joy.

Tom: You mean no more en-joy.

Guru: There is another problem with these pleasures.

Tom: What is the problem?

Guru: These pleasures can be expensive.

Tom: You mean they are not cheap?

Guru: And then it’s even more expensive to look for pleasures after pleasures.

Tom: Too expensive to look for pleasures after pleasures.

Guru: Not many people can afford to look for pleasures after pleasures.

Tom: So, there is no pleasure for people who cannot afford.
