Why we should live our lives according to our wishes?

Guru: Your actions should be your expressions of your wishes to the world.

Tom: So I should do according to my wishes.

Guru: Right, but many do not do according to their wishes.

Tom: What do you mean?

Guru: Their actions are according to somebody else’s wishes.

Tom: Such as?

Guru: Student studies medicine because teacher wishes him to.

Tom: Daughter marries Jack because mother wishes her to.

Guru: Son works in China because father wishes him to.

Tom: Everybody keeps quiet because government wishes them to.

Guru: So for many, they don’t live their lives according to their wishes.

Tom: They live their lives according to somebody else’s wishes.

Guru: So they’ll live in regret.

Tom: And they can’t live in peace.
